Gengar is the final evolution of Gastly and the evolved from of Haunter. It is a Ghost/Poison pokemon and is known as the Shadow Pokémon. It is a playable Pokémon in Pokkén Tournament. Gengar was introduced to Pokkén Tournament upon it's initial release in Japan on arcade.
In Pokkén TournamentEdit
Gengar is classified as a technical fighter. In high stance, it levitates to avoid low attacks and while in low stance, it sinks into the ground to duck under some attacks. Its mega form can fire devastating lasers and can deal some of the most damage in the game. Its Burst Attack, Shadow Drop, starts on the ground (can be avoided by jumping), and then follows into a sequence in which Gengar swallows the opponent. It is tied with Chandelure for having the second lowest HP count in the game (510).
